HuddleApp Enters US Market with Mobile App for Food and Beverage Events
HuddleApp, a start-up with a web-based app for events, recently opened an office in New York City. Huddle app revolves around three main concepts: mobilization, information, and interaction. It allows a company or individual to create a personalized application that is exclusive to their event.
The application focuses on providing relevant information about the event (agenda, directions, sponsors, exhibitors, maps, etc.). It also facilitates communication with the attendees through different features (registration, surveys, video/photos, chats, social media, and messages, etc.).
HuddleApp is an initiative of Gastronomic+34. Since 2007, Gastronomic+34 has promoted Spanish Gastronomy on an international level and has organized events in the USA, Brazil, Dubai, and China among other countries.
The company uses a software-as-a-service business model, in which the client pays a fixed annual fee that varies with the modules chosen selected for the app. Some of HuddleApp’s past clients include Wines of Spain, ICEX, TEDx, American Pistachio Growers, and most recently CoffeeFest.
